Pollard designs primarily uses silks from organza to luxurious devore velvets and also  have very interesting stories with cotton and wool. Sometimes they use a combination of all fabrics. Their use of different dying techniques is outstanding they use: indigo hand dyeing; natural Australian plant dyeing methods; sun dyeing and rust and tannic along with bright colour dying processes. They use up to four dye techniques on one piece to get their desired effects. They then use a combination of shibori techniques, hand stitching, collaging, solvie and devore to create exquisite pieces unique designed for your home.

The emphasis is on great design for both aesthetics and comfort. The idea behind Pollard Designs home art is for people to feel like they want to fall into the cushions and wrap themselves in a swathe of luxurious silks and velvets.
